…its trunk cut like a pencil!
This is obviously the work of beavers
The following nights the knapping begins.
The trunk and branches shorten every night.
You can easily see the traces of their teeth
Chips 5 to 10 cm long are scattered on the ground
Their teeth dig the heartwood
Bark is used as food, wood for the construction of dams
Nothing can resist them!
The branches are sent over the water ...
... probably towards a dam downstream.
We never see them..
But we can hear them at night.
