Great pride!
The brand "Valeurs Parc Naturel Regional du Luberon" has just been awarded to Mas de La Baou!
This label rewards our efforts to find a balance between human activity and protection of our beautiful environment (respect for biodiversity, preservation of the architectural heritage, limitation of the environmental impacts of tourism ...)
Our aim: contribute to the sustainable development of our region, and enable you to discover the best of it!

The Mas de La Bau was where you had to be on Thursday night 8/16/12, for our annual concert! Mathilde Giraud took us on a musical journey through different eras and styles, exploring all the musical possibilities of the harp. The 130 people who had found a place in our vaulted room then had ample opportunity to question the musician on her fascinating instrument, during the "cup of friendship" that followed the concert. And all came away delighted with this show as much visual as aural.

Like last year, Le Mas de La Baou will participate in "Days of Art" in Céreste, from August 4th to August 16th 2012.

We've installed a solar shower near the pool, and built a dry stone hut in the local tradition (a "borie"), for storing the cushions and pool equipment.
In May, the artists of Céreste and the surrounding region will exhibit around a quote from Jean-Jacques Rousseau:
"Climates, seasons, sounds, colors, darkness, light, elements, food, noise, silence, rest, everything acts on our machine and our soul."
An original approach, and creations that will not be less original!
Spring is in there!
La Baou is great even in winter!

The musical evening held at the Mas de La Baou on August 17 was a success. Over 120 Cérestains and passing tourists responded to our invitation and enjoyed the remarkable performance of the Workshop Choir of St Martin de Castillon, a group of six singers who performed 17 polyphonic songs from Occitan, Corsican, Italian, Ukrainian, and Georgian oral tradition...
The framework of our large restored barn, with its impressive vaults, fitted perfectly to this musical expression, which takes its roots in the Mediterranean rurality.
The audience was spellbound. Our guests this week have been particularly well served with this concert at home!
The evening ended with a drink and a buffet.
The traditional "Journées de l'Art" (Days of Art) are held in Céreste from 6 to 15 August 2011.
